By Western standards, even the smallest of donations can make a world of difference for someone in the developing world. According to recent statistics, per capita income of Cambodia rests somewhere between $250-$300 per year, which is less than a dollar a day. Even a donation of a single dollar can make an entire day’s worth of a difference in the life of someone making an effort to educate themselves.

Here is a sample of what a donation can do for a student in Cambodia:

$10 can buy books

$25 can provide a month’s worth of food while enrolled.

$50 can buy a bicycle for transportation to school

$200 can pay for a 3 month intensive English curriculum

$400 can provide a full year’s tuition at the National University

$50 a month can provide a child living in a orphanage tuition to private school.

$100/month can provide a full year’s college tuition, books and living cost.

$200/month can provide a college education and stop the cycle of poverty for two children, which in turn will life 22 more people out of poverty in the future.

For every child we help receive an education, it can help result in eleven more people being lifted out of poverty in the future.
